How do I receive notifications?
Map Your City gives you valuable info in real time from the communities and places you are following. To receive these messages you need to do a few simple things.

Update your settings to opt-in to receiving notifications
First make sure you have confirmed the email address you registered with to log in to Map Your City.
Next make sure the toggle to receive notifications is “on”. You can find the toggle in your mobile App Menu under “Settings”.
What kind of messages do I get?
- By following Organizations you receive notifications from them.
- By hitting the ❤️ of Locations you fancy – you are kept in the loop of the stories shared there.
- We send you valuable information from time to time.
- Some Organizations have opted in for Geo-based notifications and you might receive notifications when you are in the vincinity of their locations.
I opted out of receiving push notifications – I still get messages in my inbox?
If you opted out from receiving push notifications under Settings (sliding the toggle to “off”) – you will still receive notifications in your app’s notification inbox – to read at any time convenient for you.
I no longer wish to receive messages
No longer interested in receiving information from specific Organizations or Locations? Simply opt out by unfollowing them.
