TO UNDERSTAND THESE RULES
Map Your City appreciates the interest you have shown in us by visiting our website, mapyour.city, by downloading our app or by subscribing to our Service. We’ll start by getting a few definitions out of the way that should help you understand these rules. When we say “we,” “us,” “our,” and “Map Your City” we’re referring to ANDRS Projects Europe, a Netherlands private limited company, that holds the Map Your City registered trademark. We offer a Brand Ambassador Program. When we say “Brand Ambassador” or “you” we’re referring to the person participating in our Brand Ambassador Program. Our Brand Ambassador Program is hereafter referred to as “Program” (or “the Program”) and are governed by the following rules.
ELIGIBILITY
Only those who are invited by Map Your City are allowed to enter. We may organize an open call for entries from time to time – from which we select a few nominees to receive a personal invitation to the Program.
AGREEMENT TO RULES
By participating, the Brand Ambassador (“You”) agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, You agree to accept the decisions of Map Your City as final and binding.
PROGRAM PERIOD
Entries will be accepted in the manner as described in the Program and starting on and ending on dates as specified in the the Program. All entries must be received by the end date as described in the the Program.
HOW TO ENTER
The Program can only be entered upon personal invitation by Map Your City. Upon invitation you are requested to submit an entry as specified in the Program to verify you have read and understood these Brand Ambassador Rules of Engagement. Upon entry you agree to fulfill all Program requirements, as specified, to be eligible to use the Essentials basic subscription worth US$25 /month for free. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Map Your City.
You may enter only once. You must provide the information requested. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules. If You use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of Map Your City.
PROGRAM PERKS
As a Brand Ambassador you are granted the following Perks (advantages):
- You don’t pay a single dollar per month (like nothing, zilch, nada) if you create an Organization for your community (or yourself) as long as you reach at least the number of followers for your Organization per 6 months (growth goals) as indicated in the Brand Ambassador Program; Or reach as least the number of actions per week (activity goals) as indicated in the Brand Ambassador Program for Creators.
- You don’t pay anything upfront.
- If you hit those growth or activity goals – we’ll reward you with full basic Essentials membership worth US$25 a month – completely for free.
- We review our growth and activity goals every year – but your growth or activity goals will remain the same as long as you are in the Brand Ambassador Program.
- That means that the ones who onboard earlier (year 1) get a better deal than the ones who onboard later (year 2, 3, 4 etc). Better deal = lower follower count goals or to reach or fewer activities to undertake.
- If at any time you decide to discontinue our Program, just shoot us a message. Your Organization will be disabled from the moment we will receive it.
- You can enable your Organization again simply by subscribing to a plan from the Web Dashboard. If you do so within one year – we will grandfather in your lifetime 10% discount (in the second month of your paid subscription).
If you are not able to reach those growth or activity goals this is what happens:
- We check if you (are on your way to) reach your goals every 3 months – if there are no signs of agreed upon follower growth or agreed on activities are not met, we will let you know and your Organization will be disabled 1 week after we’ve have informed you.
- You will not be charged for the months you enjoyed the Program Perks.
- You can choose to leave it at that or
- You can also enable your Organization again simply by subscribing to a plan from the Web Dashboard. If you do so within one year – we will grandfather in your lifetime 10% discount (in the second month of your paid subscription).
Value of the Perks may differ from year to year and may or may not be disclosed. Actual/appraised value may differ at time of the Program. The specifics of the perks shall be solely determined by Map Your City. No cash or other perks substitution shall be permitted except at Map Your City discretion. The perks are nontransferable. Any and all related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of Brand Ambassador. No substitution of perks or transfer/assignment of perks to others or request for the cash equivalent by Brand Ambassador is permitted. Acceptance of the Program Perks constitutes permission for Map Your City to use Brand Ambassador’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
BRAND AMBASSADOR SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
Brand Ambassadors will be selected under the supervision of Map Your City. Map Your City shall have no liability for Brand Ambassador’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for Brand Ambassador’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If Brand Ambassador cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the perks within 30 days from the time our notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and release as required, the perks may be forfeited and an alternate Brand Ambassador may be selected. Receipt by Brand Ambassador of the perks offered in this Program is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY BRAND AMBASSADOR (at Map Your City sole discretion) WILL RESULT IN BRAND AMBASSADOR’S DISQUALIFICATION AS ENTRANT OF THE PROGRAM, AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS BRAND AMBASSADOR WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.
RIGHTS GRANTED BY YOU
By entering content (e.g., photo, video, text, etc.), You understand and agree that Map Your City, anyone acting on behalf of Map Your City, and Map Your City licensees, successors, and assigns, shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the World, without limitation, your entry, name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image, statements about the Program, and biographical information for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes, without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent.
PRIVACY POLICY
Information submitted with an entry is subject to the Privacy Policy stated on the Map Your City website.
